ad-aware cannot delete this spyware.
If it won't delete, it is probably in use. Shut it down and then delete. As to what it is, dunno...possibly spyware. Try running AdAware to dump it. dadiOH to delete the Audio Galaxy program but there is one file that won't delete. It's called fsg-ag_3102.exe Anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it? Pat.

I am already running adaware which has gotten rid of stuff, but doesn't help the performance of IE. I went to this page you sent the link of, but besides trying I need specific answers if anyone has any. Do I delete IE completely and reload? Will that help? I have to use Netscape now for just about everything.

Mac Spyware?
Before running AdAware after a heavy surfing session, do a Disc Cleanup first, otherwise AdAware will pick up stacks of potentially harmless junk & cookies such properly perhaps I could copy them to a diskette and load them back to the crippled computer. Does anyone here have any notion on what needs to be done???

I'd say it's the best program I've run to catch and clean trojans [and other assorted malware]. The biggest memory hog on earth! And this is coming from someone Free programs like AVG, SWT, AdAware, Spybot, etc, will "catch and clean" those if they bother you, or you can simply clear your cookies on occasion.

I'm going to mention a few of my recent activities as a shot in the dark, just in case anything rings a bell with anyone. I located the troublesome files by running AdAware and deleting the registry keys that Ad Aware was unable to get rid of, running HiJack This and stripping out all keys that I did not want,
