AdAware is available at www.lavasoft.de. Make sure you check for updates every time you use it. To be most effective, you must run AdAware while Windows is in safe .... I tried to re-install IE but that gives me a version error. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Does anyone know how to re-install IE? TIA, ves.

Now that I am back home and running my computer through my wireless network the computer runs really slow. I dumped the intrusive thing too, on account of its beaucoup background service running all the time no matter what you do. You could have done this: Start->Run->...type "services.msc" (without quotes), then stop the adaware service, then disable it. No. When you run it again the service is right back.

Ad-Aware has messed up my computer
I am running Win 200 Pro. I have tried running adaware and pest patrol and Spy Guardian Pro. None of them even detected this thing. trial version of Delphi error
I run Adaware & Spybot S&D every day, PestPatrol runs in the background. Adaware keeps picking up psevesvc.exe, and the registry entry Regkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE:SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PSEXESVC\ as possible Trojans, and successfully removes them, yet they keep coming back.
